About Montenegro 

Smallest country in the Europe, with capital city Podgorica, it covers almost 14.000 square kilometers and has population slightly over 650.000. Montenegro has a coast of the Adriatic Sea and it’s bordered with Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia and Albania. Nowhere else you can find, so much natural wealth, beauty, mild beaches, clear lakes, fast rivers, and gorgeous mountains in such a compact area as in Montenegro. In the morning you can wake up along the beautiful Adriatic coast, have lunch on the banks of Skadar Lake, and enjoy an evening walk in the Montenegrin mountains. As well you can spend half day in Dubrovnik, or visit beautiful Mostar or walk in the old city of Trebinje. With Mediterranean climate on the coast, with alpine conditions in the mountains, in April -June , September-October you can enjoy sunny days with average temperature 20°C on the coastal part, while July/August are the pick of the season. Main airports are Tivat and Podgorica, but as well airport Dubrovnik have main role in air traffic. From 2002 Montenegro use Euro as currency and credit cards are widely accepted throughout the country.
